de Fermo

De Fermo is located in the highest part of Loreto Aprutino, in the backcountry of the Italian region of Abruzzo, halfway between the Adriatic sea and the continent's most southern glacier. Since 1785 the De Fermo family has been the guardian of this natural heritage site and for generations they have been on a quest to constantly deepen their expertise. They work the soil to produce without any interference and this is how they manage to produce an average of 60,000 bottles of wine solely with their own grapes. They also grow olive trees, legumes, cereals and vegetables and they produce olive oil, flours, pasta and chickpeas.
