Every winemaker has a special bond with their land, and while this can be difficult to explain with words it is easily grasped through the authentic aromas and flavours of the wine. In the early 2000’s Franco planted his first Merlot vines and this was the start of a learning and experimenting process that gradually came to also captivate both his wife Francesca and their daughter Giulia too. In 2015 they started a project to recover a vineyard with all the ancient grape varieties of the area: from Pinot Grigio Ramato to Garganega, not to mention Tai Rosso, a grape specific to Vicenza province that has dwelled on the Sant'Urbano hills for over a hundred years.
